Products to Put in Your Skincare Fridge & What's in Mai’s

Hey everyone! It’s been forever since I’ve hopped onto the blog to ramble about various things. I apologize for that. As I’ve touched on in a few of my IG captions, life has gotten in the way more often than not, and I’ve found myself becoming disconnected from most forms of social media in attempts to get my life figured out (lol adult probs). While THAT is still TBD, one thing that is for certain, is that the skincare mini fridge has taken the beauty community by storm. I mostly credit Dax for this phenomenon, actually. I’m sure most of you remember that initial fridge post, and how it completely blew up.

Cooluli, the creator of the famous fridge, was kind enough to send over the newest model for Dax and I to upgrade to, and now completely understand how + why this has changed the beauty game. Who wouldn’t want ice cold facial mists and sheet masks? Especially those of us with easily irritated skin - it really does help. So what do I love to keep in MY fridge? Let’s discuss!

For starters, I love to keep some kind of facial roller in my lil fridge…

(which I had been putting in my regular fridge before I got this gem lol), because ….. It just feels so much better when it’s chilled. The benefits of the roller are still there, but I feel like it’s just a tad bit more effective? Especially when it comes to depuffing. This rose quartz roller shown is by Beauty Bio. It’s double-ended and the smaller end works great around the eye area.

I also like to keep undereye masks in my fridge.

They also feel better when chilled, in my opinion. I love the feeling of cool, gentle things around my eyes - especially this time of year when my allergies are running rampant. The ones showed are my favorite - the Erno Laszlo Multi-Task Eye Serum Mask. These help with under eye dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. So good!

Moving on with the mask theme - sheet masks.

I can’t convey how nice these feel when they’re cold. I love to keep all sorts of brands and formulations on hand, but some of my favorites are the Bliss Hangover Fix and Saturday Skin Spotlight masks, they’re so comfy and really help with hydrating, soothing, and replenishing.

Next, face mists!

I love, love, love keeping these cold. Once again - feels amazing and refreshing. This will be a game changer this summer, I think. Also now, since it’s currently hovering around 80-90 degrees in New Orleans …. :’( My favorites are the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist (I have the travel sized one in the door of the fridge - fits perfectly!), as well as the Belif Aqua Bomb Mist - I’ve gone through so many of these. I looooove the formula. The mist is super fine, which I’ve said is important to me in a facial mist. I hate when it sprays out chunky!

Let’s talk about serums now.

We’ve all heard that keeping Vitamin C serums in the fridge helps slow down its oxidation process - it’s super picky to light + temperature, so keeping it in a cold, dark place helps a lot with its longevity. I’m currently using the Defend serum from Vanity Planet, and I also love the C15 Super Booster from Paula’s Choice. I also like to keep my Caudalie Vinoperfect serum here!

Finally, moisturizers.

I mostly keep more gel-textured moisturizers chilly, like the Belif Aqua Bomb. But I also have a lil sample of Drunk Elephant’s Protini that I’ve been trying, and my Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream - one of my favorites!

Side note: I also keep my Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Sleep Mask in here, because it’s more of a gel base and feels so amazing on my skin when I apply this at night before bed. I adore this mask when it’s nice n chilly.

Anddddddd, yeah! That about sums it up! My skincare fridge varies quite often and is hardly ever this pretty and organized. It is what it is lol. I hope you’ve enjoyed this! Expect to see me around here more often, and thank you all SO MUCH for 30,000 followers. We just broke that huge milestone this morning, and we couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of you.

I hope you have a great week, and until next time!
